Nothing much, just a few quick updates!


Nothing much here just a quick look at what Ive done since last time.

First off Ive added a second variation of the slime enemy with a special ability (photos in next devlog). The slime will cast this ability to try and keep the player near it, preventing hit and run. This can be bypassed with a dash.

Second Ive added the ability to use the controller for player control. UI support for controller is very bad right now, though, so you still need a mouse and keyboard for navigating menus. The game feels much better with a controller, though, so I highly recommend you use one!

I made some general tweaks to how the enemy's ability attack while touching the player works. I decrease the amount of time it takes before they hit again, making it more lethal to try and stand on them and just spam attack, giving the shield more of a use. They are still a bit bugged, though.


And finally I made the sprites for the other enemy (photos in next devlog)! Currently theres only one variation and its very simple (basically just a buffed slime), but I plan to have differences between them in later builds! Hope to see y'all in the next one which will be more detailed and cover more stuff!
